What is your preferred method to share passwords?

Using regular email is not recommended and pose a security risk. because those messages are not encrypted  and sent in plain text which  could be seen or intercepted  by cybercriminals

Or if your email gets hacked, a malicious person person could find your password and gain access to  your other accounts

Here are 2 options to help mitigate the risk

Encrypted Email
One way to mitigate the risk is to use an encrypted email service like Proton Mail
They have both free and paid plans.
To ensure end-to-end encryption, both users must be using a  Proton Mail account.
There is an option to set automatic expiry dates for the email so that it gets deleted after a specified length of time.

Password Manager
Another option is to use a password manager, such as Bitwarden,  Their free version includes  the Bitwarden Send feature that allows users to send encrypted messages with set expiry dates and restrict the number of views.

Most password managers have this feature.
